Just a Note

Dear Junior parents,
The semester has finished and the Junior students have accomplished so much. They have been involved with their English classes, met their friends, done their homework, participated in so many different activities, and visited the Resource Centers with the new American Space environment.
Junior 1, 2, 3, and 4 teachers and I have the pleasure to share a few of the projects in which the students were involved. Just click on your children's teacher's name to see what they have done. You are also invited to check the projects other groups have developed.
We are all so glad to be part of your children's development.
Thank you for choosing Thomas.

YLTE - Young Learners Tests of English

Maker Projects

Students learn best by doing. CTJ Mobile Makerspace involves modern technology, traditional crafts, and abstract art to create new learning experiences.

Here you can see some of the events promoted by the CTJ Maker Space in our different Branches and Outposts. As you will see, the Junior students are so much engaged in all the projects.

Children's Day Celebration

To celebrate Children's Day, Thomas offered the students a wonderful gift - the play "Matilda", held on October 3rd and 17th at Asa Norte.
The group's performance was both in Portuguese and English, giving the students the chance to understand the story well.
The students and their family members loved it. They all had a great time.
Congratulations to the artists on the great performance.

Halloween - Boo To You

Halloween is a traditional American celebration held on October 31st.
At Thomas, all Junior students were invited to participate in a party where they could play different games and show their favorite Halloween costumes.
We all had so much fun.
